Course objectives

After the course the delegate will be able to:

  • plan and perform an Exeter THR to a high standard
  • discuss common indications for THR and complications that may arise
  • explain the basic and clinical science behind successful THR
  • outline current practice and trends in THR
  • discuss the evidence underlying their choice of hip replacement

Delegate profile

This course is suitable for more experienced surgeons or delegates who have some experience of Hip replacements, but may be new to cementing techniques and/or Exeter, or be looking for a refresher in these areas.
